  • 1 ¾ Cups Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Ripe Banana
  • ¼ Cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Small Ripe Banana
  • 2-Quart or Larger Air Fryer
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • Rubber Gloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mixture: Start by peeling and mashing your large ripe banana in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  2. Mix It Up: Add the pancake mix, white granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and your second small banana into the bowl.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer at 350°F (175°C).
  4. Form the Dough: Scoop out portions of the dough and roll them into small balls (about 1 inch).
  5. Spray and Arrange: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray, and arrange the donut holes in a single layer.
  6. Air Fry: Cook the donut holes for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  7. Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar with a couple of tablespoons of milk and whisk until smooth.
  8. Coat the Donut Holes: Once your donut holes are done, let them cool for a couple of minutes before tossing them in the glaze.

Notes

These donut holes can be made ahead of time and refrigerated, just allow them to come to room temperature before cooking. Use ripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture.
