Air Fryer Pineapple Chunks

  • 1 medium fresh pineapple (about 3 cups chunks)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the pineapple: Slice off the top and bottom, remove the skin, core, and cut into chunks.
  2. Mix it all together: Toss pineapple chunks with oil in a large bowl.
  3. Add sugar and spice: Sprinkle in cinnamon and honey/maple syrup and toss to coat.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Air fry the pineapple: Arrange chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Remove and let cool for a minute before serving.
