Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Mix the sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Incorporate the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder into the wet mixture, folding gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
