Irresistibly Gooey Banana Brownies

  • 3 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until completely smooth.
  3. Add peanut butter to the mashed bananas and combine until smooth.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder and gently fold it into the mixture until no dry spots remain.
  5. Taste the batter. If desired, add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey for additional sweetness.
  6. Add any optional components, like chocolate chips, and fold gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool the brownies in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
