  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add in the milk and honey (or maple syrup), mixing until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, and mix evenly.
  5. Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired and fold gently into the batter.
  6. Prepare your muffin tray with paper liners or non-stick spray.
  7. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
