Cajun Chicken Biscuit Pie

A comforting pie filled with Cajun-seasoned chicken, creamy filling, and a flaky biscuit crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mixed frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the diced onion and bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add shredded chicken and Cajun seasoning; stir for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Create the creamy filling by pouring in heavy cream and mixing in the peas and carrots.
  5. Transfer the filling to a greased 9-inch pie dish or deep baking tray.
  6. Top with the refrigerated biscuit dough by separating and arranging the biscuits over the filling.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option. For spice adjustments, modify the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your taste.
