Chewy Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bars

A delightful, healthy snack perfect for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon pick-me-up.

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: chopped apples, nuts, or raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine the applesauce and cinnamon with the mashed bananas, then fold in the rolled oats and any optional toppings.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown, then let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Slice into squares or rectangles and enjoy!

Notes

For easy snacking, wrap individual bars in parchment paper and store in the fridge.
