Chocolate Banana Smoothie

A luscious chocolate banana smoothie that’s delicious and nutritious, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or post-workout.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz frozen banana (11.5 bananas)
  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice
  • 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • A handful of spinach or kale

Instructions

  1. Grab your frozen bananas! If they’re not already sliced, chop them into smaller pieces.
  2. Pour in 3/4 cup of your chosen milk into your blender.
  3. Toss your frozen banana pieces into the blender.
  4. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder for that delectable chocolaty flavor.
  5. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until everything is smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste! If you like it a little sweeter, feel free to add honey or maple syrup and blend again.
  7. Pour the chocolate banana smoothie into a tall glass.
