Chocolate Banana Smoothie

A creamy and dreamy chocolate banana smoothie that’s perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a post-workout pick-me-up.

  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on the counter.
  2. Peel your bananas and chop them into chunks.
  3. Add the bananas to your blender, followed by the almond milk.
  4. Toss in the cocoa powder, maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
  5. Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high until everything is beautifully smooth.
  6. If it’s too thick, add more almond milk and blend again.
  7. Pour a small amount into a glass and taste.
