Chocolate Fudge Oat Bars

Delightful Chocolate Fudge Oat Bars that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the rolled oats and peanut butter in a large bowl.
  4. Add honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract, and combine well.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Combine the melted chocolate with the oat mixture and mix until evenly combined.
  7. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool for 10-15 minutes, then lift out and cool completely before cutting.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a nut allergy, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or tahini.
