Cranberry Cream Cheese Danish Bake

A heartwarming holiday treat filled with creamy cheese and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for gatherings or leisurely mornings.

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grab a 9×13-inch baking dish and lightly grease it.
  3. Open the first can of crescent dough and unroll it onto a clean surface.
  4. In a medium bowl, soften the cream cheese and add the vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  5. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces and arrange them in the baking dish.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the sliced danish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes.
  10. Once baked, cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Great served warm and can be dressed with powdered sugar or a glaze.
