Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

  • 2 large Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb (450 g) Twisted Pasta (Fusilli)
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, divided
  • 45 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese, preferably freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning, divided
  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes, optional
  • Fine Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into 1-inch cubes and seasoning with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet and cook the chicken until golden brown for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Sauté the garlic in the same skillet with another tablespoon of butter for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Create the creamy sauce by adding chicken broth, then after 2 minutes incorporate the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. Combine everything by returning the chicken to the skillet and stirring in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes; let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and mix with the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
  6. Final touches include adding chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Pair with a crisp green salad or garlic bread for an extra treat. This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated gently.
