Crock Pot Angel Chicken

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by trimming any excess fat and seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer the chicken breasts in a slow cooker and sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the top.
  3. Add the cream of chicken soup and cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth gently to combine.
  5. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions about 20-30 minutes before serving.
  7. Finish by shredding the chicken in the pot and stirring it into the sauce.
  8. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using thighs instead of breasts. Feel free to add vegetables or vary the pasta type.
