A classic French dessert made with fromage blanc, crème fraîche, and sugar, resulting in a light, airy treat perfect for any occasion.

  • 200g Fromage Blanc
  • 100g Crème Fraîche
  • 50g Sugar
  • 1 Sachet de Sucre Vanillé (Vanilla Sugar)
  • Juice of One Lemon
  • Seasonal Fruits (for Garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by ensuring they are at room temperature.
  2. Mix the dairy by combining 200g of fromage blanc and 100g of crème fraîche in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the 50g of sugar and vanilla sugar, whisking until dissolved (about 2 minutes).
  4. Incorporate the lemon juice and whisk until combined and slightly thickened.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare your moulds by lightly oiling them.
  7. Spoon the chilled mixture into the moulds, leaving some space at the top.
  8. Final chill for another hour to set the texture.
  9. Serve by inverting the moulds onto plates and garnishing with fresh fruits.

Notes

For variations, try incorporating melted dark chocolate, nuts, or fruit purees. Make substitutes with ricotta or Greek yogurt for a different taste.
