The Ultimate Grinder Salad

A vibrant medley of crisp vegetables and savory meats, all tossed together with a tangy Italian dressing, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup salami, chopped
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by washing and drying the greens and veggies.
  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and dice the cucumber into small chunks.
  3. Chop the salami and sauté it for a couple of minutes for extra flavor if desired.
  4. Mix all the chopped ingredients together in a large bowl.
  5. Dress with Italian dressing and toss gently to combine the flavors.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

Add fresh herbs like basil or parsley for garnish. Serve with crusty bread or toasted pita chips.
