Loaded Taco Croissant Loaf

A delightful combination of taco flavors encased in flaky croissant dough, perfect for game nights or family dinners.

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/plant-based meat)
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup queso (or shredded cheese with milk)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the taco filling by sautéing onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Add the ground beef and brown until fully cooked; stir in taco seasoning.
  4. Mix in the queso until well combined.
  5. Unroll the croissant dough onto a baking sheet, pinching seams together.
  6. Fill the dough with taco mixture in the center.
  7. Wrap the dough around the filling to form a loaf, sealing edges.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving with sour cream.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use lentils or grilled vegetables instead of ground beef. You can also customize the spice level by adding diced jalapeños.
