Mini Powdered Sugar Doughnuts

Deliciously fluffy mini doughnuts coated in powdered sugar, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease your mini doughnut pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg) in a medium bowl.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients (milk, melted butter, and egg) in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fill each donut cavity about halfway using a piping bag or small spoon.
  7. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let the doughnuts cool for a couple of minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack.
  9. Dust each doughnut in powdered sugar while still warm.

Notes

These doughnuts can be made with dairy-free alternatives. Experiment with flavors and toppings for variety!
