Taco Ranch Cornbread Pie

A delightful fusion of cornbread and taco flavors, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

  • 1 package cornbread mix
  • 1 pound ground beef (taco seasoned)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 cup corn (optional)
  • Sour cream (for serving, optional)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. Prepare the cornbread mix as per package instructions.
  5. Combine the cooked beef, ranch dressing mix, corn, and any remaining cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Layer half of the cornbread batter in a greased baking dish, spread the beef mixture on top, and pour remaining batter over it.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
