Easy Chocolate Dessert

Indulge in a rich and creamy chocolate dessert with an Oreo crust, perfect for any occasion.

  • 20 Oreo Cookies (about 1½ cups crushed)
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate (54% cocoa)
  • 12 oz heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
  3. Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl and combine with the melted butter until evenly coated.
  4. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.
  5. Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  7. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  8. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
  9. Pour the ganache over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Notes

For a lighter dessert, try substituting coconut cream for heavy cream. You can also make this dessert a day ahead for the best flavors.
