Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond butter, peanut butter, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • Optional add-ins: chunky dark chocolate chips, dried fruits, or seeds like chia or flax

Instructions

  1. Gather your supplies: mixing bowl, spatula, and an 8-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the nut butter and sweetener until smooth; warming the nut butter helps.
  3. Incorporate the oats, ensuring they are evenly coated with the mixture.
  4. Add any optional ingredients and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Press the mixture into the lined baking pan, compacting it firmly.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Slice into rectangles or squares once set and serve.
