No Churn Strawberry Ice Cream

A sweet, creamy, and bursting with fresh strawberry flavor, this no-churn strawberry ice cream is a perfect summer treat.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries: Hull and slice them, and optionally toss with sugar to macerate.
  2. Blend the strawberries: Blend half of the strawberries until smooth; leave the rest sliced.
  3. Whip the cream: Whip the heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine the ingredients: Fold in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt into the whipped cream.
  5. Add the strawberries: Fold in blended strawberries and then sliced strawberries gently.
  6. Chill out: Transfer the mixture into a container, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Scoop into bowls or cones and serve with optional toppings.

Notes

You can add variations like chocolate chips or nuts for a different flavor. Ensure cream is whipped properly to achieve desired texture.
