  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash your ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted coconut oil or butter with bananas and stir in the beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold just until combined.
  6. Add sugar, honey, or maple syrup; if needed, add a splash of milk to adjust batter consistency.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
