  • Cooked Chicken (shredded or chopped)
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes (mashed)
  • Cheddar Cheese (optional)
  • Fresh Herbs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mashed potatoes by peeling and chopping the Yukon Gold potatoes. Place them in a large pot, cover with cold water, and add salt.
  2. Boil and mash the potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Prepare the butter chicken filling by heating the butter chicken sauce and shredded chicken in a skillet.
  5. Assemble the shepherd’s pie by layering the butter chicken mixture and smoothing the mashed potatoes on top.
  6. Cheese it up by sprinkling cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes (if using).
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
