Kimchi Cheeseburger Skillet

A delicious fusion of Korean kimchi and classic cheeseburger flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef, increase heat to medium-high. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and chopped kimchi. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, cover with a lid, and cook for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts.
  5. Stir everything gently and adjust salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

This dish can be served with rice, lettuce wraps, or tortilla chips for a fun twist.
