Maple French Toast Casserole

A delightful breakfast casserole made with fluffy brioche soaked in a rich custard, infused with maple syrup and cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf brioche, cubed
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the brioche into bite-sized cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl until frothy, then add milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the custard over the brioche cubes, ensuring every piece is soaked. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and transfer the soaked brioche into it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. A knife inserted in the center should come out clean.
  6. Cool the casserole for about 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup or fresh fruit.
