Orange Chicken Rice Casserole

A warm and comforting casserole made with juicy chicken, fluffy rice, and tangy orange sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • Cooked Rice
  • Orange Sauce
  • Bell Peppers
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Green Onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat, searing for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  3. Add diced onion and bell peppers and sauté for about 4-5 minutes, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Combine diced chicken, cooked rice, and orange sauce in the skillet.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is crispy.
  8. Finishing touches with chopped green onions or fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding other vegetables, spices, or even cheese during cooking.
