The Perfect Air Fryer Banana Bread

A delicious and moist banana bread made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for using up overripe bananas.

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Air Fryer: Set to 320°F (160°C) and let it warm up.
  2. Mash Those Bananas: Mash ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until mostly smooth with a few chunks.
  3. Mix in the Melted Butter: Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and stir until combined.
  4. Add Sugar, Egg, and Vanilla: Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well-blended.
  5. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then sift in flour gently.
  6. Prepare Your Air Fryer Baking Pan: Lightly grease a 6-inch round cake pan or silicone mold.
  7. Pour the Batter: Pour banana bread batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Air Fry: Place the pan into the preheated air fryer and set the timer for 25 minutes.
  9. Check for Doneness: Insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, it’s done!
  10. Cool and Serve: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
