  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Gather your ingredients.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Add the sugar and any additional spices.
  5. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it.
  6. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the pumpkin layer.
  8. Add the chopped pecans on top.
  9. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire cake.
  10. Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a nut-free option, omit pecans or use sunflower seeds. This cake can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for 3-5 days.
