A vibrant and spicy stir-fried rice dish infused with aromatic garlic, colorful veggies, and tangy Schezwan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or festive gatherings.

  • 1 tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Capsicum (Bell Pepper)
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Carrot
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Coriander Leaves for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Gather and chop all your veggies and have everything within reach.
  2. Heat the Oil: In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: Toss in the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  4. Add Onions: Cook for 1-2 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  5. In with the Veggies: Add capsicum and carrots and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Mix in the Sauces: Pour in the Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar; stir well.
  7. Add the Rice: Gently fold in the cooked rice, ensuring it gets coated in sauce.
  8. Season It Up: Sprinkle in black pepper and salt to taste.
  9. Final Toss: Stir everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and add fresh coriander leaves on top.

Notes

For best results, use day-old rice that has been chilled to ensure a fluffy texture. Feel free to substitute with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
