Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken strips and perfectly cooked noodles coated in a sticky, sweet, and savory garlic sauce.

  • 8 oz noodles (your choice)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil, add noodles and cook until al dente, drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the chicken in a skillet with oil over medium-high heat, cooking until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. Sauté the garlic in the skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Create the sauce by adding soy sauce and honey, stirring until bubbling and thickened.
  5. Combine everything by tossing in the cooked noodles with the chicken and sauce until fully coated.
  6. Add final touches with sesame oil and green onions, adjusting seasoning if necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables or adjust ingredients for a vegetarian option with tofu. Enjoy with a side salad or steamed veggies.
