  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Dill pickles, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the diced onions in olive oil until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Cook the ground beef until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, and spices.
  4. Combine the beef with the tomato sauce and let it simmer.
  5. Prepare a baking dish by spreading a thin layer of the beef mixture on the bottom.
  6. Layer half of the quartered biscuits over the beef mixture.
  7. Add a layer of shredded cheese and dollops of beef mixture, then top with pickle slices.
  8. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
