Easy Yogurt Mousse

A light and creamy yogurt mousse that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion, bringing a refreshing taste that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Gelatin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream in a chilled bowl until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Blend the yogurt and sugar together until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the yogurt mixture.
  4. Incorporate the whipped cream into the yogurt mixture gently.
  5. Prepare the gelatin if using by blooming it and dissolving it in warm water, then add to the mixture.
  6. Chill the mousse in serving cups for at least 2-3 hours.
  7. Serve with fresh fruit or toppings as desired.

Notes

Consider folding in pureed berries or citrus zest to enhance flavors. Can be made dairy-free using coconut alternatives.
