Decadent Zero Sugar Brownies with Greek Yogurt

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, honey (or sugar substitute), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Mixes: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir gently to combine until just incorporated.
  5. Transfer to Pan: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake! Pop the brownies into the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool and Slice: Once baked, allow to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For an extra fudgy texture, underbake by a few minutes. Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt or drizzled chocolate for added flavor.
