Red Velvet Brownies

Decadent brownies with the rich flavors of red velvet and a drizzle of white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 oz chopped semi-sweet chocolate bar
  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon red gel food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and chopped chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  4. Mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract and white vinegar.
  7. Add the red gel food coloring, mixing until incorporated.
  8. Incorporate the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt into the mixture.
  9. Optional: Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  10. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness.
  12. Cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack.
